Greenbank Farm

About a 20 minute drive north of Langley is Greenbank Farm winery, cheese shop, and café. After enjoying a little wine and some lunch, you can enjoy a walk on one of many trails around the farm. The view of the red farm buildings against the beautiful Puget Sound waters is breathtaking.

Port Townsend

About a 30 minute crossing from Keystone to Port Townsend on the “Port Townsend/Keystone” Ferry. You will find shopping, restaurants, kayaking (summertime), hiking, music, theater, and much more. This day-trip will give you a chance to explore the unique small city of Port Townsend across the water and return to the countryside and “island life.” Be sure to call for more information about the ferry crossing.

Fort Casey State Park

Located south of Coupeville, this park includes Admiralty Head Lighthouse, panoramic views of Admiralty Inlet and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and of course, the fort itself! This old artillery post features two historic guns on display, along with many dark rooms and crevices to explore. This is a great place to take kids for a day-long adventure with a little bit of education thrown in!

Fort Ebey State Park

Scenic hiking trails with bluff views of Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula. Enjoy the beauty of outdoors with hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and perhaps even, eagle watching. If you are up for a bike or hike, ride or walk into the small town of Coupeville for some shopping, food, and dessert (great ice cream!).

Deception Pass

Washington’s most popular state park (located at the Northern tip of Whidbey Island) offers more than 4,128 acres of scenery and plenty of recreational activities! There is freshwater swimming and a sandy beach at Cranberry Lake. Across the bridge on Fidalgo Island is freshwater trout fly-fishing at Pass Lake.
